REGISTRATION… and PARTICIPATION in seven steps

Step One

Make sure your child is registered by going to
https://www.formstack.com/forms/ilcp-Sunday_School.
Remember to complete the additional form provided on the site and hand that in at the registration table.

Step two

Step Two: Come to church on Sunday Morning and stop in at the check-in table is now located in Fellowship Hall (beside the coffee and snack table).

Just follow the smell of coffee and the sound of fun conversation and you’ll find smiling faces waiting to greet you there.

Step Three

At 9:15 all families enter the sanctuary for the 9:15 Service of Worship. Children sit with their families until they are invited to come to the front for the “Family Worship Talk”.

Step Four

Following the “Family Worship Talk” Sunday School Children (PK-8th grade) and their teachers will be dismissed and re-group outside the sanctuary. Their teachers will take them to their next learning center. For details of where your child will go that week, refer to the Sunday Morning Children’s Education Schedule below.

Generally: Younger children (PK-2nd grade) will participate in traditional Sunday school and the older children (3-8th grade) will be rotating week-to-week through crafts, games, service projects, and bible lessons

Step Five

Step Five: At 10:15 Sunday School ends – children can be picked up in their designated classrooms.

Step Six

Review today’s lesson with your child. It will be the same topic discussed in Worship Services. This is a great way for the topics discussed to have more meaning and purpose in the lives of your children.

Step Seven (optional, but recommended)

Another optional experience is to attend our Saturday at 5PM; or Sunday at 8AM or 10:45AM Services of Worship together as a family. There are unlimited benefits to having children experience worhsip. This additional experience will enhance their memory of the Sunday School lesson and increase their enjoyment during Sunday School time.
